Purpose The spread of Covid-19 has led to the closure educational institutions worldwide, forcing academic find online platforms. purpose this paper is accelerate development learning (OL) environments within those institutions. pandemic unfolded extent institutions' readiness deal with such a crisis. Design/methodology/approach In vein, study aimed identify perception translation instructors in teaching courses during Covid-19, using questionnaire explore strategies and challenges assessing students' performance. analysis revealed instructors' reliance on Zoom Microsoft Teams offering virtual classes WhatsApp communication students outside class. Findings findings relative effectiveness education, but its efficacy less than face-to-face according respondents' views. It was also found that faced difficulties OL, which lie adapting environment, lack interaction motivation deficiency data connections. Even though education could work as an aid it not replace instruction. Based findings, recommended blended learning. Combining instruction, i.e. plus synchronous asynchronous, would result rigorous OL environment. Originality/value research genuine there no conflict interest.
